Name: Commander Zero (Enthavion)
Age: Several thousand years
Sex: Male
Race: Half Reaper / Half Demon
Face Claim: Abel Nightroad (Trinity Blood) {Edited}
Abilities: Zero has many abilities he gained from the Demon Blood that flows inside him. Like Demon's he doesn't require sleep, and he has enhanced strength and speed. Zero has many advanced abilities such as a clairvoyant sight that allows him to see events from a distance. He can also move over great distances by traveling through shadows. His right eye is red, it allows him to read information about his opponent: height, weight, muscle composition, overall health, weak body points. With this information Zero can gauge how fast a person is, what kind of fighting style they would be best suited for, and even pick out points on their body where he could do the most damage.
Weaknesses: Like Demons and unlike Reapers Zero can be harmed by human weapons and explosions. Unlike Demons he doesn't have the natural ability to shape shift or recover from major wounds easily.
Weapons: Commander Zero has three main weapons. His Reaper weapon, that he uses to send humans to the afterlife, are two wakizashi. These he keeps strapped to his sides and pulls them out with ease. His second weapon is a special weapon that works against super-natural beings such as demons, angels and other reapers. The third weapon is his Specialty Weapon. This weapon works on anyone. It consists of a two foot hand hold, attached to either end of the hold are two 15 foot chains, at the end of each chain is a miniature scythe blade. This is what he uses most in his line of work.
Occupation: Zero is the head of the Reaper Genocide Squad, a special unit that deals in mass death as well as super-natural harvesting. (This includes reapers who might go astray, and demons or angels who interfere in reaper business.) He is part of the Reaper High Council along with the Chancellor of the Regular Reapers. He is of equal rank to the Chancellor and reports only to the Chair of the Council.
Personality: Commander Zero is conflicted by his half blood status. He refrains from passing any kind of judgement on the other races except for humans. Zero isn't one for small talk or formalities (though he will always address someone by their rank or title) which often leads people to believe that he is cold and emotionless. Really Zero cares very much about the well being of Reapers as well as several Demons.
Life Story: Enthavions’s mother was a reaper, but his father was a demon. His half-brother is a full Demon. At first he accepted this fact until he saw the way the other reapers felt about Demons. So he hid the fact that he was part demon. He was selected for transfer to the Genocide Squad at a young age. The current Commander knew about his half/half background and in order to protect Enthavion further he removed any files that would show his connection to the Demons. In exchange Enthavion was obliged to take on Off the Record missions. It was in the Genocide Squad that he would meet his wife. He married her and for 80 years they were together. In their 80th year his wife was murdered by a Demon. Enthavion was torn between the two races. He couldn't bring himself to hate Demons as a race, just the Demon who stole his wife from him. Shortly thereafter he became the Vice-Commander of the Genocide Squad. When the Commander retired and became a member of the Council Enthavion became the Commander and took on the new name of Zero (as Genocide Squad Members are ranked by number depending on their skill levels).
Sample Roleplay:
Commander Zero stands at the balcony atop the magnificent apartment building that overlooked the river around Paris. He is clothed in all black, nothing like an English person, more like an assassin. His hood hangs just above his eyes. He left eye is blue, the other shines red as he looks out at the city through his glasses. His scarf blows slightly as the breeze catches it.
Though he stands amidst luxury he cares nothing for it. He is not materialistic nor does he care for any of the pleasures of humans. Decoration, possession, status, these things are meaningless to him, though he inwardly struggles to understand the cycle of life and death. As he looks out across the horizon he thinks of the peculiarity that humans possess. *Why do they fear death so? They know it to be inevitable yet they attempt to stave it off at any length.*
There is a knock on the door behind him. Zero thoughts turn to the door. “Enter” he speaks in a commanding emotionless tone. The door opens and a woman enters the room. She wears a black dress that flows from her shoulders to her feet. Around her waist a silk sash pulls the dress against her body and gives the dress an hour glass shape. Her hair is medium length and black as night. It hangs down to her neck. Her eyes are black and she wears a gold necklace set with a polished obsidian stone.
Since only one reaper is ever sent to bring him a message from the council, Zero knows who it is without even turning around and speaks to her by name. “So tell me Liana, what are our orders this time?” The woman walks up beside him and hands him an envelope as she speaks but yet doesn’t fully answer his question. “Apparently the reapers are overworked this week.” He glances over at her taking from her words that whatever the mission is, it’s most likely an easy job. He opens the envelope and pulls out the report assignment. As he reads over it his face remains expressionless.
The report details a group of humans that have been evading and resisting reapers for several months. The number of those to be reaped has grown in the upwards of several thousand souls; a task beyond any regular reaper. To reap such a number would require the skills of the Reaper Genocide Squad. None of these humans on their own would constitute a threat great enough to require the advanced skills of the Genocide Squad, but together they have created a force that normal reapers aren’t trained to deal with.
Their location is unknown as part of their plan requires them to keep moving to avoid reapers. This makes just wiping them out more of job than what Zero would like. Cat & Mouse wasn’t one of his favorite games but that didn’t mean he wasn’t good at it.
“How troublesome,” is all he has to say at first. He places the report back into the envelope, seals it up and hands it back to the woman. “Well then lets get started.” He looks up and the light reflects off his glasses. He takes a step forward before jumping from the balcony and descending 5 stories to the street below. He heads out into the underworld of London to begin sniffing out his prey.
The woman watches him go and smiles. She knows how Zero operates and she knows the next step to his mission. She exits the room and closes the door of the hotel room. She heads down to the hall to another room. She knocks on the door and a male reaper opens it. "Vice Commander Liana!" He says this more as a greeting as well as to inform the other 2 reapers in the room. Liana steps inside and closes the door. "The Commander has already started to move, let's go." The three reapers are quick to get on their feet and they all move out of the room.
The one who answered the door is dressed in a black business suit. His brown hair is slicked back. The other male is dressed in a similar fashion only his black hair is spiked. The third reaper is a female dressed in a black skirt and blouse. Her yellow hair is divided into two pigtails that hang down to her waist on either side of her.
As they exit the hotel through the lobby the black haired male reaper looks off towards the city. "The Commander is that way, I can sense him." They all take off in the direction he indicated, slipping through the back alley ways and over the roofs to avoid detection.
