There are many ways to win recognition on our board.
Post Length Ranking
The easiest method of recognition can be found any time you post. In an effort to encourage our members to make long detailed posts we have a ranking system that will display at the bottom of each post if you meet the criteria. The criteria is the word count in your post. When you post if you look at the very bottom you will see a word count displayed for you. There is a word count at the bottom of the quick post also.
100 Words = Para RP'er (Bronze)
We realize that not every post demands 6 paragraphs. Especially when conversations start occurring. So for at least 100 words (1 paragraph) you get the Para RP'er Award.
500 Words = Multi Para RP'er (Silver)
This is the standard post length. When you consistently post 500 or higher you know that you're a Multi-Para RP'er.
750 Words = Professional Para RP'er (Gold)
For our really top notch posters who can crank out the paragraphs, you are considered a Professional RP'er
1000 Words = Master Para RP'er (Platinum)
For those who go above and beyond the normal length and really get into detail you are a Master Para RP'er.
Monthly Awards Showcase
Every month members of the board can vote on people for the following categories:
Staff Highlight:
Candidates will be selected by Life/Death. The Staff Highlight is awarded to a staff member who has displayed dedication to the board and some form of exceptional help.
Most Valuable Poster (MVP):
Candidates will be selected by the Staff. The MVP is the member who has done the most to help the board grow both plot-wise and as a forum.
Best Comedian:
Candidates will be selected by the Staff. The Best Comic is the member who made us laugh the most (in a non-vulgar, non-racist, acceptable manner). This includes both posts on the forum and the chat box.
Reaper of the Month:
Candidates will be selected by the Reaper Council Staff. The Reaper of the month is the character who has done the most in the Main Story Arc to help further Reaper Interests.
Demon of the Month:
Candidates will be selected by the Demon Staff. The Demon of the month is the character who has done the most in the Main Story Arc to help further Demon Interests.
Angel of the Month:
Candidates will be selected by the Angel Staff. The Angel of the month is the character who has done the most in the Main Story Arc to help further Angel Interests.
Insider of the Month:
Candidates will be selected by the Staff. The Insider of the month is the character who is not of one of the three races that has done the most in Main Story Arc to help further the plot.
Battle Arena Champ:
This is the only category that isn't voted on. The Battle Arena Champ is the person who has the most victories in the Battle Arena for that month. If there are users who have the same number of wins then both will be awarded points and put in the showcase.
To be considered for candidacy a character must have posted at least 10 times during the current month, at least 4 of the 10 should be in the main story arc. A person can be considered as a candidate for multiple categories if they have met the requirements.
Points and Pounds
There are two different methods of earning currency for different purposes. They are:
Points: Points are spendable for board related purchases.
Pounds: Pounds are spendable within the role play itself.
Every time you post you will gain 1 point and 5 pounds. Posting is the only way to gain pounds. Points can also be awarded as follows:
5 points for accepted application
5 points for used ideas
2 points for being a monthly awards candidate
5 points for winning in the Battle Arena
3 Points for a tie in the Battle Arena
2 Points for finishing a fight in the Battle Arena
25 points for winning the monthly awards (per each title)
It is also possible to lose points for breaking the rules. (Like -8 for dropping out of a fight in the Battle Arena without notice or posting.)
What can you get with your points and pounds? Pounds are the easiest currency to spend. Your character uses them in the role play to purchase things like you would in real life. Points can be spent on the board in this thread.

500 Points: Image Name
750 Points: Add a Star (only once)
If you have any other suggestions for rewards you would like please post them in the suggestions board. To spend your points please post in this thread and indicate what you want to purchase. An admin will deduct the points and help you set up your reward.
